Cebu Day Tour : Oslob Whale Shark Watching and Tumalog Falls | Philippines

Compared to my experience in 2023 with a different tour, the tour and how the operations are for Oslob Whale Shark Watching has tremendously improved! Straightforward and fun! We were back at our hotels by 2/3pm.

The driver drove safely even on the bumpy road. The experiences were so fantastic I had a really good memory.

The driver came to pick us up at 3am and it’s a 3 hour drive to Oslob. Once we got there, we got a number and waited about 1.5 hour. They have goggles on the boat.

First ever wonderful experience swimming with the whalesharks. The Whale Shark were really big. The only disadvantages are, the beach & place were too crowded with tourist. While swimming, one of the tourist accidentally kicked my head. Average experience were a mere 30minutes only, which is too short. People rowing the boats told us to be quick. And we felt that, the one handling the gopro were being forced to record our video eventhough we PAID for the gopro service. He only took 5 short videos of us, all videos less than 10seconds and it is very blurry! Disappointed Crowded and short. Overall experience 6/10

I went to Oslob for 5 times already, but I think its the most unforgettable tour for me, the snorkeling near Sumilon island sandbar is so good, and just php200 including the gear and tour guide fee. We departure IT park at 3am, and arrived in whale shark watching at 5:30am, and registering for whale shark at 8am, but we went to Sumilon Island and came back to join the whale shark watching at 9:30am.

Good arrange, KKDay A tiring trip, but worth it. The driver Odenlon M. Abuso contacted us the day before, told us about the time schedule, and helped us take beautiful photos, 100%.

Our guide Rodje Mepranum promptly picked us up from our hotel at the stated time and made sure we were as early as possible to the whale shark experience to get our ticket. He efficiently took us to Tumalog Falls whilst waiting for our number for the whale shark experience to be called which left very minimal waiting time. He helped us through getting a ticket, waiting with us, giving us helpful information and making sure all of our belongings were safe whilst we went on the boat. He was a big part to play in how great the experience was. The experience itself was fantastic! There were lots of whale sharks to see and we had a great time.

The magnificent whale shark and waterfall aside, we got this energetic and helpful driver Mr. Odelon for our day trip to Oslob! He’s eager to offer help every step of the way. He was a patient and professional driver as well. Highly recommended!
