Polar Explorer Icebreaker Cruise

Tour guide was nice. A bit pricey but worth it.

The transfer to Santa Claus Village was smooth, and the guide was friendly and polite. The icebreaker cruise was a very exciting experience, and we were able to feel the great outdoors. The children were also very happy to be able to experience entering the sea from 125cm. The food was also delicious.

Perfect arrangement.

We chose to join the tour at Kemi station, which was less strenuous than the two-and-a-half-hour tour bus ride from Rovaniemi, which is only a half-hour ride to the pier from Kemi. Once you get on the polar explorer, you can walk freely, you can listen to music and dance on the main deck, and you can go up to the front deck to see how the ship breaks the ice. The indoor space has a restaurant, lounge, and a movie room to watch the history of icebreakers. The key is to swim in the ice water wearing a lobster outfit, the staff are friendly to help you put on and take off your lobster outfit, and there are professional photographers to help you take pictures after getting into the water, just enjoy it. digital photo $25 Euro 1set, good shot! After swimming, you can also walk to the ice to play crap, build snowmen, and run, but be careful not to go too far, the staff will whistle you to come back. Finally you can also visit the captain's room to watch the captain start the boat, the captain is very friendly and patient. Overall, this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip!

The boat ride was 45 minutes (one way). We walked around and took some photos. We watched the introduction video on the bottom of the boat. The ice sea swimming was a group experience. There was a special person to help with the clothing. The actual floating time in the sea was less than 10 minutes. Please take advantage of it and have fun! After the boat docked, you can get off the boat and walk on the frozen sea. It was a rare experience. We used the time on the return trip to buy photos of floating on the ice sea. It was a very fulfilling and unforgettable day! I had a lot of fun and left good memories! Thank you:-)

Although the price is a bit high, it is definitely worth it. The Swedish guy who led us was very nice and friendly, which made our trip a wonderful one.
