Grateful that the tour was not cancelled in light of the ex cyclone tam. The rain gave the Hobbiton town a mystical vibe.

Totally enjoyed this trip-- we had a spitfire of a lady named Hannah, who has mad driving skills, quick wit, and the patience of a saint. She has a deep knowledge of NZ history, and kept us entertained the whole day with her engaging stories and funny anecdotes. The tour guide in Hobbiton (Sonnet) was also a delight to be with, and shared trivia and jokes that made the tour interesting. The buffet that goes with the tour was just a pleasant bonus, and the Glow worm caves are just as enchanting. Worth every cent, and a must for every Auckland traveller!

The tour guide is very professional, and it introduces the history and itinerary of New Zealand. There are plenty of sights, but the journey is far away and the journey is tight. The village of Hobbit is very beautiful and it is a must-see attraction for fans. There are also stalactites in the Firefly Cave.
