Bill, our tour guide, was so wonderful and kindly guided us to places where we could see the Aurora very well. We were able to see the Aurora all during our 2 nights and 3 days trip. We were able to take some really pretty and wonderful pictures at the Aurora places that Bill introduced.

The KKDAY trip was booked when the date was very close. The partner travel agency called Arctic Tours Canada, the staff were very warm and sincere, and the hotel where the accommodation was allocated was very comfortable. Since I only participated in the three-day and two-night trip, when I didn't see the aurora on the first night, I blew for a while during the day, but I was lucky to meet the aurora explosion in the second night! The scene is very shocking and moving! I will always remember this aurora recall in Huangdao Town.

Due to the cancellation of the blizzard flight, it was not possible to participate in the itinerary that night to see the Aurora explosion. The next day the travel agency gave us a city tour to make up for our injured soul. It can only be said that watching Aurora really depends on luck!

After the payment is completed, the order cannot be confirmed until before departure, and the refund cannot be made to allow consumers to transfer to other platforms for ordering. According to various sources in the tourism industry, KKday often waits until the last moment to place temporary orders with local operators, but puts all the responsibility on local operators and cites the peak tourist season as the reason for delay. Although the order stated that it would be confirmed 5 days after the order was placed, neither telephone customer service nor text customer service could provide effective assistance. The itinerary itself is great, and you can also find it on other platforms online, even on the website of the local business owner. They all speak Chinese, so don’t worry, give up KKday bravely, this platform will only delay time and has no guarantee. When you encounter a problem, they will only refer it to local operators, and there may even be packet loss on site (you can search keywords on Google yourself: KKday consumer disputes). Many ridiculous situations occurred during our communication process, such as: 1. The order was not confirmed, but a confirmation letter was received. When I called customer service, they said that the confirmation letter cannot count and must be based on "KKday's own system announcement". Why do you need to send me a confirmation letter? 2. The payment is paid in full, but the order cannot be confirmed, and the full refund cannot be made. The reason is that KKday is already processing it and the refund period has expired. But the point is that they cannot guarantee order confirmation without refunding money. This kind of thing really happens, and there is no way to complain. 3. Finally, the order was established despite our strong argument and request for refund. But the customer service called us when we were in Canada and told us that we could cancel in full. This means that they have poor internal communication and have no regard for consumers. We ordered a trip that included accommodation. Moreover, we have already purchased our flight tickets to Yellowknife. How can we cancel the order and rebook other accommodation + itinerary now? 4. The customer service attitude was once very bad, and when we asked for the recording of the customer service phone call, KKday refused to provide it as a company asset. Therefore, if the same situation happens to you, your customer service phone recording cannot protect the consumers themselves at all. The above points are provided for your reference. The temperature adjustment of the hotel is bad, and each room is at least 30 degrees. I asked kkday to negotiate with the travel agency many times, but kkday claimed that it had nothing to do with them and would not deal with it. The hotel for 3 days and 2 nights was 30 degrees high. I asked to change the hotel, but the travel agency could not provide help. You are required to book other rooms online. KKday will not do anything about it. Before check-in, the last batch of guests have reported system problems to the travel agency, but the travel agency has not changed the hotel. Knowing that there is a problem, but according to the request, the guest checks in and is notified when there is a stain on the request to replace it. The waiter was off work and could not arrange a change. At about 5:00, the room suddenly lost power when using the hair dryer on the first night. It took about 35 minutes to arrange a change. If you provide any contact information and any questions, you will be required to contact the local travel agency. Before the itinerary, you will check whether there will be a time conflict between the Aurora itinerary and the morning itinerary. The travel agency can catch up, but it’s fully booked, so we can’t participate. My personal suggestion is not to book on this platform. Anyway, in the end, you will only be asked to search through the travel agency.

Our flight was delayed by almost an hour. All other passengers were picked up by their tour companies; we were the only ones left behind. I couldn't understand why other companies can provide pickup service in the event of flight delay, but Arctic Tours Canada cannot. In addition, the package includes 2 free aurora photos. We expect the tour guide to arrange the best time and location to take photos for us. However, when we talked to the guide on this issue at the end of the first day, he said we have to request for the photos instead. Honestly speaking, I don't think he's aware of our free photos until he checked his document. On the other hand, he put a lot of effort on selling photo packages to other customers! We ended up not taking any photos as the weather was bad on the second day. On another note, the hotel (Super8) was decent and the driver did provide good service!
