Had a pleasant trip on the river boat to Tamsui, economical cost and smooth journey

It incorporates much local historical evolution, geographical knowledge, the contributions of Taiwanese pioneers, and the origins of Taiwanese music creation, with the architectural style blending Baroque and Fujianese elements.

Before embarking on the Blue Highway, we followed a guide to learn about tea culture, visited Guide Street, Chen Tianlai's former residence, and the large tea merchant settlement from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China! We boarded a pirate ship, sailing on the Tamsui River, from Dadaocheng Wharf to Tamsui Wharf, a journey of one and a half hours. The ship departed at 3 pm and arrived in Tamsui around 4:30 pm. This mini-trip, looking at the two banks from the water, felt truly different!

This visit to Dadaocheng was completely different from my previous impressions. Some historical sites definitely need a guided tour to explain things. Every brick and tile has a story. I've been to Tamsui many times since I was a child, but this was the first time I traveled by water on the Tamsui River. On the one hand, I felt that goods were transported into Dadaocheng by boat during the prosperous period of the Tamsui River. On the other hand, I learned a lot from the first guided tour on the banks of the Tamsui River. Friends who like to explore history and have experiences should definitely not miss it.

The content was very enjoyable and not boring; the guided tour was professional and included historical information.

The Blue Highway Tour offers stunning scenery along the riverbanks, with guides explaining Taipei's historical development, including places like Huludu and Shezi Island. Disembarking at Tamsui, a stroll through the old streets at dusk to watch the sunset was truly delightful. Although it was a bit crowded due to the Lunar New Year holiday (the third day of the Lunar New Year), it was still a fantastic journey.

The guided tour includes explanations of the history of Dadaocheng. It's very interesting and engaging.
