A play that travels through a century, combining geishas, sumo, traditional opera, film debates, song and dance shows, New Year's Eve song and dance… At the Ximen Red House Theater, you can experience an immersive work of Taipei's century-old splendor and snacks and delicacies. The Ximen Red House was completed in 1908. It has gone through the Japanese occupation period, the Taipei air raid, the Nationalist government's visit to Taiwan, the closure of the Red House, and its revival in 2024. Over the past 100 years, the Ximen Red House has become a landmark of Taiwanese culture. The performance of the fixed play of "Ximen Red House Immersive Theater" will take the audience through time and space to explore the century-old historical changes of Ximending, while tasting famous snacks such as grass cake, Red House pancake, meat dumplings, red bean cakes, braised food, pancakes, sweet potato balls, etc.
