Introduction

The Wei Chuan Dragons are the home team of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taipei. They won the first championship of the first year of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in 1990, and won three consecutive championships from 1997 to 1999. In the 2023 Taiwan Series, the Wei Chuan Dragons won four out of seven games and set a record of five consecutive full games at the Tianmu home stadium. On March 30, 2024, the first regular game in the history of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taipei Dome was held, and the Wei Chuan Dragons won the first victory in the history of the Dome. In the future, this will be the starting point to continue the legendary chapter of the Red Dynasty together.

Wei Chuan Dragons, the most tenacious baseball team

The dragon spirit is immortal, returning to the first team!

Wei Chuan Company began to participate in the promotion of the establishment of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in 1987, and the Wei Chuan team has since become one of the four veteran teams at the beginning of the professional baseball. It officially entered the professional baseball under the name of the Wei Chuan Dragons and successfully won the Chinese Professional Baseball League championship four times in 1990, 1997, 1998, and 1999, becoming one of the most popular teams in the Chinese Professional Baseball League.

In 2019, Ting Hsin Group officially announced the "resurrection" of Wei Chuan Dragons. In 2020, Wei Chuan Dragons started from the second team, overcame the low tide at the beginning of the season, and went against the trend. They entered the second team championship with the first place in the regular season, and finally won the first championship after returning, announcing their determination to enter the first team in 2021!

Dragons are united and return to glory!

Since returning to the first team in 2021, the Dragons have been fighting tirelessly. In 2022, they immediately qualified for the post-season challenge with the third highest annual win rate. Unfortunately, after three fierce battles with Chinatrust Brothers, they failed to take advantage of the opportunity to win the Taiwan Championship.

However, the Dragons who have obtained valuable nutrients from the competition have also become more mature. In 2023, Wei Chuan Dragons won the first place in the annual win rate and the second half of the season with unstoppable momentum, and was guaranteed to enter the Taiwan Championship to face the strongest opponent-Rakuten Monkeys. In the fierce competition between the two sides, Wei Chuan Dragons faced a situation of falling behind 3 to 2 in the overall situation, and was caught by the opponent. However, the situation of a do-or-die battle ignited the determination of the Dragons. In the sixth game, the Dragons' son Xu Ruoxi played bravely and won the victory steadily. Facing the crucial seventh game, the Dragons fought hard and finally won the fifth championship in team history and the first championship after the return with the last catch of catcher Jiang Shaohong in front of the fans, making the Tianmu Stadium stained with the moving red tide after 24 years.

Dragon Beauties Little Dragon Girl

The Wei Chuan Dragons exclusive cheerleading team 『DRAGON BEAUTIES』Little Dragon Girl, currently has 27 regular members and 5 trainees, a total of 32 people, making it the largest cheerleading team in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. They mainly perform in support of Wei Chuan Dragons home games, and are also active in various team activities/performance programs/brand endorsements/business announcements, etc. The team members include many popular cheerleading goddesses such as Lin Xiang, Li Duohui, and YURI, and have a large number of fans in Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Macau.
