From Edo to Meiji, the rediscovery of Japanese aesthetics

Re-enactment of the floating world・Visual innovation・Immersive experience

Created by a team from Japan, the birthplace of Ukiyo-e, an art feast that combines tradition and innovation is about to unfold!

The "Ukiyo-e in Motion" exhibition brings together classic paintings by Ukiyo-e masters from the Edo to Meiji periods, including Hokusai Katsushika, Kuniyoshi Utagawa, Hiroshige Utagawa, Utamaro Kitagawa, Toshusai Sharaku, and Kunisada Utagawa, with more than 300 authentic works and representative works on display.

The exhibition combines the display of physical famous paintings with beautiful and dazzling 3D CG animation, projection mapping technology, and original music with a strong Japanese style to create a fully immersive interactive space. Visitors are not just "looking at paintings", but "walking into" the world of Ukiyo-e in person - traveling through the streets and alleys of ancient Edo, feeling the heroic figures of samurai, the elegance of courtesans and the wonders of scenic spots, and experiencing a visual and sensory cultural festival.
