Yun Hsien Resort, Wulai, New Taipei City: The beautiful scenery was once inaccessible to tourists due to the cliffs of the Nanshi River. This led to the construction of the Yun Hsien aerial tramway, which fully presents the original natural landscape. The scenery is naturally beautiful, and the changing of the seasons each have their own unique charm, just like a fairyland, hence the name "Yun Hsien Resort".
Wulai Trolley: The Wulai Trolley was initially used for transporting lumber. Due to the development of tourism at Wulai Waterfall, the operating route from Wulai Station to Waterfall Station is approximately 1.6 kilometers long. It operates daily from 8:00 to 17:00, with adjusted operating hours during the summer peak season, and departs as soon as passengers arrive. When visiting Wulai Old Street, the trolley is a popular attraction for adults and children alike.
Neidong National Forest Recreation Area: Located in Wulai District, New Taipei City, it boasts primitive forests and abundant water resources, making it one of Taiwan's famous forest paradises. The area's humid climate and favorable environment make it an ideal habitat for ferns, mosses, and diverse wildlife, earning it the nickname "Fern Paradise." In spring and summer, you can hear the croaking of frogs, like a natural symphony in "Frog Valley."
Xinxian Suspension Bridge: A pedestrian suspension bridge located in Wulai District, New Taipei City, spanning approximately 30 meters across the Nanshi River. It serves as one of the eastern entrances to the Xinxian Trail, combining local indigenous culture with the natural beauty of the river valley, creating a serene gateway to the mountains. On both sides of the bridgehead, there are Atayal warrior statues (holding knives, bows, and arrows, etc.), highlighting the local indigenous people's life and cultural spirit.
Wulai Waterfall: The waterfall with the largest drop in northern Taiwan, it was listed as one of the Eight Views of Taiwan during the Japanese occupation period, and is also known as "Yunlai Waterfall." When rainfall is abundant, Wulai Waterfall forms two streams of water, cascading straight down from the valley, showcasing its magnificent beauty. In spring, you can also admire the blooming pink cherry blossoms beside the waterfall, embellishing the waterfall mountain forest.
Wulai Old Street: The area around Wulai Street, Waterfall Road, and Huanshan Road features uniform shop sign styles, creating a neat appearance. Most of the shops emphasize Aboriginal characteristics, so visitors can enjoy Aboriginal-flavored mountain delicacies, such as charcoal-grilled mountain pork, hot spring eggs, Alpinia zerumbet rice, bamboo rice, maqaw dishes, mountain ferns, and pearl onions, which are rare Aboriginal-flavored dishes in other places. In addition, there are also millet wine, millet mochi, and other specialties, which are also very suitable as souvenirs for friends and family.
